Helmets are compulsory for all children taking lessons with us and we also highly recommend children’s back protection.

In the Plagne Centre snowgarden all children have a mid-morning break with water and a biscuit.

All children receive a free medal and report card at the end of their course.

Ski poles are not necessary for children skiing in groups lower than 2nd Ski.

Ensure your child is wearing warm, dry and comfortable clothing. They should also have on thermals, gloves, sun cream, sunglasses or goggles.

Make sure your child is comfortable in their ski boots – one pair of socks is sufficient and store them in a warm, dry place overnight.

Encourage your child to drink lots of water rather than fizzy drinks.

Remember your child is better off feeling too warm than too cold in altitude, where generally one’s body heat drops rapidly – especially for little ones!

Before handing your child over to our ski school, please make sure that they have been to the toilet, they have their lift pass, a snack in their pocket, some money and a sheet of paper stating the following:

• Parents’ full name
• Address in the resort
• Telephone number
• Mention of any products they might be allergic to.
