Le Grand-Bornand is one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the French Alps. A traditional village with super skiing that combines the charm of two hundred year old chalets and the facilities of a modern ski resort. It is easy to get to, being close to Geneva and Annecy, and boasts beautiful views over the Aravis mountain range. The resort is split into 2 villages – the Grand Bornand Village, at 1,000m, is the main shopping and residential zone of the ski resort, whilst Le Chinaillon, at 1,300m, is the site of the beautiful old village (with chalets dating back to the 17th century) and the main ski lift hub.

Children’s group lessons

We offer a range of group lessons for children from 3 years old, available in the morning, afternoon or full day. Groups are small in size and organised by level and age, providing the perfect environment to build confidence and improve technique.

Teen group lessons

Our Pro-Rider lessons are for teenagers aged 12 to 17. These lessons are perfect for experienced skiers and will push limits and improve technique. Available all day or in the morning, they help youngsters gain confidence and excel at skiing.

Adult group lessons

Our adult group lessons offer beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers the chance to learn with like-minded people. From gentle first turns on the beginner slopes to adrenaline-fuelled powder days, we’ll take you on an adventure to remember…

Snowboard group lessons

Take advantage of our snowboard group lessons! Beginners will discover this fantastic sport, gaining in confidence in a perfect environment. While the more advanced riders will be able to refine their technique while enjoying Grand Bornand.

Private lessons

Enjoy a one-to-one and take a private instructor just for you. Lessons are available in all disciplines (ski, snowboard, telemark, freestyle). Even better, you can share a session with a friend or family member, or even create a private group by simply adding an extra person to your reservation.

Oxyski in Grand Bornand offers a super selection of additional snow activities, not just traditional skiing and snowboarding! Choose between speed riding, moonlight LED night skiing or even paragliding. You’ll see our mountains from a completely different perspective, one we are sure you’ll love.
